GMC 2500HD 4x4 6.0L Vortec is excellent
by Fz1rider on Saturday, June 08, 2019
Predictable poor fuel economy but absolutely great truck. I have had zero repairs. Fit 33" BF Goodrich KO2 tires on stock wheels without a lift, also added Bilstein shocks to make it a true Z71. I do run the tires @65psi when empty for some comfort. I just checked the trade in value and the truck has only depreciated 20% in 6 years, not bad at all. - 5.0
Indomitable and Strapping Stud
by RC on Saturday, September 14, 2019
When I bought the truck, I knew it was powerful and more than capable of pulling my 8900 lbs travel trailer. But, I wasn't expecting it to pull it over a nearly 9000 foot pass in Utah without even breaking a sweat. It has taken me from Texas to Colorado to Oregon and up the Alaska-Canadan highway with nary a complaint. I expect to be driving this mule for a very long time. - 4.0
